Makry Gialos beach

Makry Gialos is a beautiful, clean Blue Flag beach with crystal clear waters, located  xxxxxx from Lagada Resort,  23 km east of Ierapetra, There is a traditional Cretan village of the same name close to the beach and an ancient Minoan site located just west of the village.

The main beach at Makry Gialos is the long beach of Analipsi , formed around a wide bay with fine sand and pebbles. You can enjoy a wide range of water sports from here and there are numerous hidden coves and little beaches to explore in the area.  Many tavernas and bars line the main beach and there are plenty of places to relax and enjoy the sunshine for a perfect day by the seaside.
